Tehsil-Level STEAM Competition Held in Malakwal, Students Showcase Creative Talent

A tehsil-level STEAM competition was held at Government High School Malakwal, where students from various government boys’ and girls’ schools across the tehsil participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their creativity, innovative thinking and research skills.

Assistant Commissioner Malakwal Sohail Riaz Cheena attended the competition as the chief guest.

More than 30 students presented unique and creative models based on a variety of themes. The students demonstrated their ideas through practical projects, highlighting their abilities in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

During his visit, Assistant Commissioner Sohail Riaz Cheena inspected the different stalls and reviewed the models prepared by the students. He also observed their presentations and appreciated their hard work, talent and innovative ideas.

The Assistant Commissioner particularly encouraged students who presented outstanding models and praised their efforts to explore new ideas and apply their knowledge in practical ways.

Speaking on the occasion, Sohail Riaz Cheena said that educational competitions of this nature play an important role in developing creative thinking, research skills, problem-solving abilities and the effective use of modern technology among students.

He emphasized that providing the younger generation with opportunities to showcase their talents is an important need of the present time. Such activities, he said, help students build confidence while preparing them to meet the educational and technological challenges of the modern era.

The competition was organized through the dedicated efforts of the Headmaster-in-Charge of Government High School Malakwal, along with the Tehsil Value In-charge, Malakwal, and Assistant Education Officer Malik Nasir.

According to the organizers, the main objective of the STEAM competition was to showcase students’ creativity and innovative ideas while connecting their learning with the requirements of modern education.

The activity was organized in accordance with the educational vision of the Punjab government, with a focus on promoting students’ creative, research and problem-solving abilities.

The participating students presented their projects with enthusiasm and demonstrated their potential through a wide range of innovative models. The competition provided them with a valuable platform to develop practical skills, share ideas and promote a healthy culture of creativity and innovation in educational institutions.
